Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter-Welder to join our installation team. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with a mechanical background who are confident working with elevator systems, metal structures, and precision welding in compliance with technical drawings and safety standards.

Job Description

Studying drawings and specification of elevator, checking and classifying metal parts and elevator accessories to meet elevator installation process requirements at each stage.

According to the requirements of the installation manual, making samples and positioning the line transect.

Positioning the pit buffer according to the drawings and specifications.

Fitting the main and auxiliary guide rail supports to the designated position according to the drawings and installation process.

Unpacking and moving elevator hall door headers and door frames to the corresponding installation position, fitting and positioning it properly according to the drawings and specifications.

Unboxing the top, bottom and frame of the elevator car, classifying them according to the installation process, moving them to the corresponding position, fitting and positioning properly according to the drawings and specifications.

Fitting the safety gear and positioning it properly according to the drawings and specifications.

Unpacking and moving the elevator tractor and speed limiter and move them to the installation position, fitting and positioning properly according to the drawings and specifications.

Unpacking the heavy frame and moving it to the designated position, fit and position properly according to the drawings and specifications.

Performing welding on elevator frame structures, door frame attachments, and other metallic joints where mechanical fastening alone is insufficient or not compliant with safety standards.

Using a range of power tools and welding equipment to fabricate or modify metal parts as needed during installation.

Welding steel support structures and brackets in the pit and shaft area to secure elevator components, using appropriate welding methods.

Diagnosing faults during installation and performing operational maintenance, repairing mechanical parts of elevator.

What we’re Looking for

Proven hands-on experience in welding, fitting, and metal assembly, preferably in elevator installation

Familiarity with Hitachi and Otis elevator installation processes and standards

Skilled in the use of welding equipment and power tools.

Able to work safely in confined spaces and at heights.

Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
