Domestic & Family Violence Court Support Officer (Male)– Identified

12-month part-time position with potential extension

24 hours per week+ relevant award entitlements + superannuation

The DFV Court Support Officer will report to the office manager and will be responsible for:

providing practical support to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples attending DFV Specialist Court. e.g., explain court jargon, orders, documents & processes.

linking clients with relevant services e.g., counselling, domestic & family violence services.

attend each scheduled court date

maintaining records

maintaining strong relationships with relevant and key stakeholders

Successful applicants must have:

strong communication and interpersonal skills

strong organisational skills and attention to detail

computer skills

C Class driver’s licence

Blue Card or eligible to apply for one.
