We are looking for a Studio Manager with at least three years of customer service and administrative experience, who is friendly and customer-focused, highly organised, has excellent attention to detail and is an innovative, dedicated team player. Must have a warm, outgoing personality and love working with children. Experience in sales is a bonus. A background in dance is another bonus.
You will be part of a creative, passionate team in an established dance academy which is growing fast and dedicated to doing good.
We are looking for somebody who is looking for a long-term position, and who wants to grow with the company. This is a fast-growing business and there is lots of scope for the role to develop as the Academy continues to grow.
Duties
Being the first point of contact for all phone and email enquiries
Providing excellent customer service to exisiting and potential customers (parents and children)
Purchasing studio supplies, liasing with Maintenance
Managing enquiries and converting them to paying customers
Processing enrolments, make-up classes and trial classes
General staff support - onboarding, organising cover teachers, leave requests, processing timesheets
Maintaining student records with studio-specific CRM
Maintaining Google Calendar of classes, studio bookings, private lessons and events
Managing studio hire bookings and private lessons including invoicing and scheduling
Proof-reading all outgoing communication in line with annual Communication Calendar
Answering student/parent questions about Academy events and processes
Processing incident reports and adhering to WHS requirements
Updating Academy Policies & Procedures as needed
General administrative tasks
Essential Requirements:
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Full working rights in Australia
Valid Working With Children Check (or willing to obtain)
Valid Police Check (or willing to obtain)
Minimum Requirements:
Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent experience
Experience with studio management software (e.g. DanceStudioPro) and proficiency in Google Workspace and Macs
Additional dance-related qualifications/experience advantageous
