What We Offer You:

Competitive Compensation: As a Senior Stylist at Minx, you can expect to receive above-award wages. We provide a clear pathway for you to increase your earning potential, with no cap on your hourly rate. Your earning potential is truly limitless. Starting rates range from $28 per hour for newly qualified stylists to $30-$38 per hour for those with over a year of experience. (Starting wages are negotiable based on skills and experience.)

Bonus Opportunities: We reward our stylists with a bonus structure that includes Service Commission (5%, 7% & 10%), Retail Commission (30%), and Rebooking incentives.

Steady Flow of Clients: With almost 16 years in the industry, our salon is well-established, extremely busy, and widely recognised. You won't be short of clients to build up your column and achieve your professional goals.

Global Brands and Expert Training: We work with some of the world's best brands, including Loreal Professional and Kerastase, as an Exclusive Premium Partner Salon. You'll have access to training from some of the industry's leading professionals, both through academy training and private in-salon sessions. We are Toowoomba's leading ghd salon and stockists.

Personalised Mentorship: Salon Owner and Director, Beau, will personally mentor and train you, sharing her wealth of knowledge. You'll be trained in the Minx Method, a renowned training system that has produced outstanding hair stylists and colorists since 2009.

Diverse Skill Development: We understand that everyone has their strengths. If you're not a fan of upstyling, don't worry; we can teach and nurture you to become a well-rounded hairdresser. Our expert trainers include Sharon Blain, Lorna Evans, Ulyana Aster, and the Minx Method.

Exciting Staff Events: We believe in celebrating our team. From meditation retreats and team yoga to staff breakfasts and unforgettable Christmas parties, we find reasons to come together and enjoy each other's company.

Holiday Breaks: Enjoy a Christmas break from December 24th to January 2nd each year, and rest easy knowing we don't open on public holidays or Sundays.

Support for Mums: We value mothers with children and offer Minx maternity leave, complete with a $5000 bonus. We're here to support you and be flexible to your needs.

Relocation Bonus: If you're relocating to Toowoomba for this position, we offer a relocation bonus of $2000 (T&C’s apply).

Located in the heart of Toowoomba's CBD, Minx has been a thriving establishment for over 15 years. We're a fun, modern, and high-end salon with a fantastic team of friendly professionals. We're known for our expertise in blonde specialties and our newly renovated three-story building in October 2023. Think Melbourne Minimalistic Contemporary Art Gallery meets Luxe Hotel Lobby. Its a vibe.

Our team is a vibrant mix of enthusiastic junior staff and experienced Senior Stylists, some of whom are also parents. We're a close-knit group that values camaraderie and respects each other's time.

Hours:

Part-time: Wednesday 9am-5:30pm, Thursday 9am-9pm, Friday 9am-5:30pm, Saturday 8am-2pm fortnightly (all our qualified stylists share alternating Saturdays)
