Established in 2005, Whitpro Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated business based in the beautiful Whitsundays. As we continue to expand, we are preparing a dedicated site to support our growing operations, which include truck and machinery hire, delivery (water, parcels, and landscape supplies), nursery, irrigation shop and retail store.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable HR/HC Truck Driver / All-Round Operator to assist across multiple areas of our operations. This is a long-term, stable role that offers variety, security, and the opportunity to work within a supportive team.

Key Qualifications & Experience

Minimum HR licence required, HC preferred

Strong driving skills — this is not a highway-only role. You must be comfortable navigating steep and narrow driveways for water and landscape supply deliveries

Experience with crash box gearboxes highly regarded, but not essential

Physically capable of climbing ladders and working at heights (e.g. filling water tanks)

Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to complete daily vehicle inspections

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Your role will be varied and may include:

Transporting materials to and from our landscape supply yard

Local and Townsville delivery runs

Seasonal water deliveries

Moving equipment and machinery (e.g. Bobcat and excavator operation)

Assisting in the upkeep and reporting of vehicle and machinery maintenance

Supporting the team to keep operations running smoothly
