Job Title: NetSuite Support / IT Project Officer
Location: Newcastle, NSW (Onsite 5 days)

About the Role We are seeking a proactive and technically minded NetSuite Support / IT Project Officer to join our team. This dual-role position will support the ongoing use and optimisation of our NetSuite ERP system, while also assisting with the delivery of internal IT and digital transformation projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong system support skills and the ability to coordinate and communicate across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities NetSuite Support

• Act as the first point of contact for internal NetSuite users, providing timely support, troubleshooting, and guidance.
  
  
• Manage user access, roles, permissions, and workflow customisations.
  
  
• Assist in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new NetSuite features/modules.
  
  
• Monitor data integrity and work with departments to improve system use and reporting.
  
  
• Liaise with external NetSuite consultants or support teams as required.
  
  

IT Project Officer Duties

• Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT and digital projects across the organisation.
  
  
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation, schedules, risk registers, and stakeholder communications.
  
  
• Track project milestones, follow up on deliverables, and coordinate meetings and reporting.
  
  
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support solution implementation.
  
  
• Assist with system integrations, software rollouts, and process improvements.
  
  

Skills and Experience Essential:

• Experience working with NetSuite (2+ years), preferably in a support or admin capacity.
• Exposure to IT project coordination, digital systems implementation, or business process improvement.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with data entry, reporting, and dashboards.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and work with minimal supervision.
  
  

Desirable:

• Knowledge of NetSuite modules such as Finance, CRM, Inventory or Manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices or basic project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, etc.).
• Experience with other cloud platforms or integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, Shopify).
  
  

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in IT, Business Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• NetSuite certifications or relevant vendor training desirable but not required.
