About the role

We are seeking a full-time Local MC Driver to join our dynamic team at GEOFF RICHARDS REFRIGERATED TRANSPORT PTY LTD' in Bethania, Queensland. As a Local MC Driver, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, delivering goods efficiently and safely within the local area.

What you'll be doing

• Operate refrigerated heavy vehicles within the local area, adhering to all road rules and safety regulations
• Load and unload goods at various delivery points in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain detailed delivery records and provide excellent customer service
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and provide updates on delivery status
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport operations

What we're looking for

• A current MC (Multi Combination) driver's licence with a proven track record of safe driving
• Experience in driving refrigerated heavy vehicles, preferably within the road transport industry
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• A commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all company policies and procedures
