Vorstrom Vacuum Equipment is a leading manufacturer of vacuum systems for the Liquid waste, Industrial waste and Hydro-Excavation Industries in Australia and due to our expanding growth we currently require a Fitter for a position in our vacuum tanker assembly facility based in Warwick Qld. This position will be ongoing for the right candidate. The position will involve the assembly of parts and components required to build a vacuum truck, trailer or skid mounted system from the ground up.

In this role the successful applicant will be required to :

• Be on time and be well presented
• Have a good work ethic
• Be able to follow instructions and read assembly drawings
• Work independently or as part of a team
• Have good attention to detail
• Be able to work to timelines
• Follow company policies regarding OHS, procedures and legislations

It's not essential, but would be highly regarded if you have skills and/or experience in at least one of the following:

• Have a mechanical based trade or be mechanically minded
• Have previous workshop/assembly experience
• Relevant industry experience
• Driver’s license
• Forklift license
• HR licence
