Brand New Centre Opening Soon -Beveridge

Happy Sprouts Early Learning, Beveridge is seeking an experienced, passionate Centre Director to join our privately owned, purpose-built brand- new centre located in Beveridge.

As the Centre Director you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, you will be actively involved in building a strong team culture and building positive relationships with families, children and the community. Your main role is to ensure the service provides high-quality education and care for all children and families.

As the Centre Director you will be the Nominated Supervisor. You will be involved in, promoting the service, increasing enrolments, recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic team, as well as developing strong community involvement.

You will support the service to ensure it meets its KPIs, which will include occupancy, budgets, service satisfaction, and Department of Education reporting. You will be supported by the experienced Approved Providers. You will have access to support services for HR/ IR issues.

Is capable to manage the day-to-day operations of the Centre whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and our service policies and procedures

Create inclusive, professional, and genuine relationships with team members, approved providers, Department of Education, children, and their families

Demonstrates warmth, compassion, and possesses a high level of written and verbal communication skills

Is proactive, flexible and has proven time management and organisational skills

A demonstrated ability to lead, guide and coach teaching teams and competency in all aspects of staff management

Is capable to facilitate regular staff meetings, staff training and ongoing mentoring of staff

Focus on continuous quality improvement and ensure provision of a service which meets and exceeds the National Quality Framework and Standards

What you will need:

A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification

Experience as a Childcare Centre Director or in a leadership role

High-level communication and interpersonal skills

Be available to work between 6.30am – 6.30pm (M-F)

High-level of knowledge and understanding of;

· Approved Learning Frameworks (EYLF) / (VEYDLF)

· Victorian Child Safe Standards and Child Protection Training

· The Education and Care Services National Regulations and relevant laws

· The National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Current Working with Children Check and a current Police Check

Current First Aid and CPR certificates

Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate

Understand and working knowledge of Work Health and Safety (OHS)

Experience in childcare software (desirable) and social media
