Our firm is located on the Beautiful Sunshine Coast QLD and we are seeking a talented Family Lawyer with 2-20 years of post-admission experience to join our growing team. As a Family Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal advice and representation to our diverse client base on a range of complex family law matters.

What you'll be doing

Advising and representing clients on a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property settlements, and financial agreements

Conducting client interviews, gathering evidence, and preparing legal documents such as affidavits, submissions, and court applications

Negotiating settlements and representing clients in court proceedings

Collaborating with other team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services

Staying up-to-date with changes in family law legislation and case law

Contributing to the firm's business development and marketing initiatives

What we're looking for

2-20 years of relevant post-admission experience in family law

Exceptional knowledge of family law legislation, case law, and court procedures

Strong negotiation, advocacy, and dispute resolution skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to providing exceptional client service
