Key Accountability's

• Input into the development of systems, tools and procedures that improve our capabilities
• Contribute to constant enhancement of our Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery
• Active involvement in the proposal and implementation of solutions for ICT services
• Actively take part in Change, Incident and Problem Management
• BAU and Project work including responsibility for project management of tasks
• Provide technical support, coordination and advice to customers and others in the technical team
• Vendor management
• Ensure the effective and efficient operation of ICT services
• Ensuring incidents are resolved within agreed service level commitments
• Managing and maintaining the ICT asset and software license registers
• Ensuring ICT maintains a low risk profile and a secure IT environment
• Maintain systems at a supported version by applying latest patches and service packs
• Recognising the potential for automation of processes

Skills / Experience Required

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
• A passion for technology and problem solving
• Strong technical understanding of Microsoft architecture, tools and related products supporting desktop, server and network environments.
• Exposure to product lifecycle management
• Self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision and the ability to independently research processes
• Great time management skills and prioritising to work toward a fixed deadline
• Logical and structured approach
• Attention to detail
