Quest Collingwood is now recruiting for a full time Housekeeping Team Leader and Trainer to join it's team.

The Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, this role is responsible for leading all aspects of Housekeeping in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager with a hands-on approach.

This role includes setting up daily responsibilities, assigning room cleaning tasks, managing linen and housekeeping stock requirements, and proactively making operational improvements to ensure the smooth delivery of housekeeping services to our guests. It also has a large component of on the job training where you will have the ability to share your skills and knowledge, and help create a confident and high performing team.

The Housekeeping Team Leader will also assist in cleaning rooms and Public areas with the Housekeeping Team, ensuing a balanced approach for all.

This is role will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure that the high standards of Brand and Cleanliness are maintained for the hotel.

The Ideal Candidate

Will demonstrate a helpful, proactive leadership style, leading by example and developing individuals to ensure the success of the team and a positive work environment.

A flexible approach to work, excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills, experience with housekeeping systems, a keen eye for detail, high standards of personal presentation, a highly team orientated ethos, and a strong respect for workplace health and safety.

Previous experience in a hotel or accommodation Housekeeping is essential for this role, and leadership experience will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts Monday to Friday, Weekends & Public Holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia.
