About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of a 2 km sewer pipeline project. You will manage all engineering and construction activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This position offers consistent technical exposure, professional development, and long-term project continuity.

Location: Victoria
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $180,000–$220,000 + Super + Company Vehicle

Project Scope Includes

Below ground sewer works

Deep excavation and open-cut installation of DN1100 and DN1200 GRP pipelines

Microtunnelling of DN1200 GRP pipe

FRP and GRP manhole construction

Management of complex and deep temporary works

Coordination of service relocations

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations through site supervisors

Maintain safety, cost controls, program schedules and production oversight

Lead project commencement meetings, tenders, methodology and risk reviews

Implement project management plans across safety, environmental and quality

Approve procurement, track project costs, and manage variations

Deliver accurate reporting to senior management

Oversee subcontractor procurement, onboarding and compliance

Drive a strong safety culture onsite and across subcontractor teams

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management within water, sewer, gas, or oil infrastructure

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia or equivalent)

Proven experience with project cost control, estimation, and reporting

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Commercially aware, resilient and results-focused

Strong commitment to safety and compliance standards
