Role: Principal Power System Engineer
Salary: up to $220k + super + bonus
Location: Brisbane or Melbourne
This is a hybrid position.

Established international consulting firm with pipeline full of diverse projects is seeking a Principal Power System Engineer to lead a team of talented power system engineers.

Key Responsibilities for the Principal Power System Engineer:

• Manage complex projects in power transmission, distribution, renewable e energy & HVDC.
• Develop and maintain relationships with counterparts globally
• Manage development of models, performance of studies and assessments of results using psse, pscad, pss/sincal and/or digsilent.
• Provide technical supervision & mentoring a team of engineers
• Provide technical support to external stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends and NER technical rules.

Requirements for the Principal Power System Engineer:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System Engineering, or a related field.
• 10 + years of experience in the industry
• Extensive knowledge of power systems in the transmission, distribution and/or renewable energy industry
• Proven leadership and mentorship experience
