About the Position:

The purpose of the Warehouse Store Person is to ensure that stock is received and receipted within the warehouse environment and to ensure that documentation, labelling, storing and presentation are accurately completed daily. The Store Person will be responsible for warehouse equipment and ensure cleanliness to required facility standard.

This includes:

• Data entry on computer systems daily.
• Stocktake as per facility requirements.
• Ability to monitor and be responsible for inventory levels.
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by Forklift and/or overhead crane.
• Accuracy when checking deliveries.
• Picking of orders.
• Driving of forklift within warehouse environment on a daily basis.
• Assisting Warehouse Manager on daily warehouse responsibilities .
• Identify and source material and parts requirements and document accordingly.
• Commitment to a Zero Harm workplace that complies with WH&S practices and promotes an excellent team work attitude.

About you:

• Proven ability to organize and prioritise tasks, be flexible and resourceful, proactive and professional in manner with a high degree of initiative.
• Strong level of customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to utilize trouble shooting skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be a hands on team player.
• Pride yourself on attention to detail and accuracy.
• Stocktake experience.
• Intermediate data entry skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certificate III in Logistics or Warehousing (desirable)
• Drivers licence.
• Forklift licence.
• Dogging ticket (not essential)
• Rigging ticket (not essential)
