Calmer Chai is looking for a highly motivated production and delivery assistant to complement our small but mighty Moorabbin based business. Casual position, 2-4 days per week available.

Main duties include:

Deliveries; metro Melbourne

Production work; handcrafting our small batch chai blends + other bespoke products

Key criteria to apply:

Adaptable and flexible mindset

Warm and confident personality

Hospitality background a huge advantage with comfortability in the cafe environment

Open and clear verbal communication

Robust physical health; able to lift 20kg+

Full drivers licence and ability to drive autonomously for a full 7-8 hour shift

Confidence navigating metro areas in a small van & entering loading docks

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse/Production Duties: assist in the precise production of our 5 chai blends and other specialty products, package and store products (attention to detail important), pick and pack orders, general cleaning duties, small forklift operation. All training provided.

Deliveries: deliver to cafes and health food stores across metro Melbourne in an efficient and timely manner using our company van (small VW Caddy). Organise the delivery route and pack the van independently.

YOUR CULTURAL ALIGNMENT AND SKILLS

Excellent and proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.

Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others.

Experience and proven ability in any customer service, sales, delivery or hospitality positions are all an advantage

Demonstrated ability to multi – task and highly effective time management skills.

Pre-existing knowledge of our brand and the hospitality culture is an advantage.

A genuine interest in the food and beverage industry.

Must have valid driver's licence
