About Us

Your Mind Matters is a group private psychology clinic based in Notting Hill, Victoria. We are committed to collaborative care, clinician well-being, and evidence-informed practice. With the area designated as a DWS (District of Workforce Shortage) for psychiatry, and our current psychiatrist at full capacity, we are ideally positioned to support a second psychiatrist in building a rewarding, sustainable caseload.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to provide:

· Psychiatric assessment and diagnostic clarification

· Medication management

· Input into integrated care for clients aged 6+ (depending on your preference)

This role offers complete flexibility and autonomy, with robust support from our admin and clinical team.

· Minimal Admin Burden: Our admin team handles bookings (via MediRecords), intake paperwork, payments, and Medicare claims.

· Flexible Hours: Choose from

o Monday–Friday 8:00 am–2:30 pm, or

o Mon/Tue/Thurs 2:30 pm – 9:00 pm

o Optional telehealth day once your practice is established

· Clinical Support: Collaboration with psychologists, GPs, paediatricians, and allied health professionals.

· Onboarding & Setup: We'll gladly help you get started with systems, templates, and referral pathways.

· Marketing: We promote you via our website, social channels, and direct referrer communications.

Fee Structure

You’ll invoice YMM for services used (e.g., room hire, admin, marketing). These fees typically range from 15–30% of your consultation rate, based on your chosen support level.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is

· A Fellow of the RANZCP with full AHPRA registration

· Medicare eligible and holds professional indemnity insurance

· Values a collaborative, client-centred approach
