At Banana Bathrooms we pride ourselves on creating our customers’ dream bathroom spaces, with an exceptional customer experience to match. We offer a complete bathroom renovation service including design, product selection / ordering, project management, coordination of trades, construction, tiling and fit-out. Our brand new showroom in Broadmeadow has 18 full-size bathrooms based on Newcastle and the Hunter’s most popular floorplans.

Responsibilities

Perform rough-ins, fit-offs, door installations, load-bearing wall removals, flooring installations, accessory fittings, window installations and other tasks as required in bathroom and laundry spaces

Installation and manufacture of kitchen and laundry cabinets on site. Alteration of vanity units, cutting stone tops and general cabinet fitting.

Execute all work with precision, maintaining high standards of quality

Provide outstanding customer service by effectively communicating and representing the company in a respectful and professional manner on-site in our customers’ homes

Collaborate effectively with the rest of the team, promoting a positive and friendly work environment

Assist other trades when necessary, demonstrating a willingness to contribute and support various projects

Possess a mature outlook and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience

Cert III Carpentry qualification or Certificate III in Cabinet making

Manual driver's license

Ability to work independently, efficiently, and meet project deadlines

High level communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, exhibiting a strong team player mentality

Own set of tools

Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and industry trends

Plastering skills are an advantage
