The Role

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in the Personal Injury field to join our Personal Injuries team.

Key Responsibilities

This position will require you to:

Assist in the management of a robust portfolio of CTP claims and WorkCover files from inception to resolution.

Draft, review, and finalise legal documents, including claim forms, correspondence, and court submissions.

File and update documents electronically, ensuring all case records are maintained accurately and in compliance with relevant procedures.

Liaise with clients, insurers, medical experts, and other external parties to ensure the timely and efficient progression of claims.

Deliver exceptional service by responding promptly and professionally to client enquiries.

Clearly explain legal processes to clients, ensuring they remain informed and confident throughout their claims journey.

Build and maintain strong, empathetic relationships with clients, demonstrating a commitment to improving their lives during challenging times.

Assist in preparing comprehensive case files for hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.

Provide general administrative and legal support to the Personal Injury team, contributing to overall case strategy and success.

Desirable Attributes & Skills

A minimum of 2 years’ practical experience as a paralegal, specifically handling CTP claims and workcover matters in a personal injury setting.

Exceptional organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to articulate complex legal matters clearly.

Proficiency in legal research and case management systems, with a willingness to embrace new technology and automation.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

A genuine passion for helping people and a commitment to making a real difference in the lives of our clients.

An approachable, articulate, and friendly demeanour combined with high emotional intelligence.

A proactive mindset, strong work ethic, and a willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced legal environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with Smokeball (preferred but not essential)
