Locum Occupational Therapist

Brisbane - Queensland

3 month fixed term contract or contractor agreement - Commence at the end of June/start of July or when possible!

Position Details:

• Monday to Friday - 38 hours per week
• All travel and accommodation expenses covered (for non-local locums)
• $50–$55/hr (depending on employment type)
• $60+/hr for Brisbane-based contractors
• Immediate start available in a supportive and collaborative environment!

Join our multidisciplinary team to deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse range of clients, including aged care and NDIS participants. Based at our therapy centre, you’ll also work across various sites to support clients’ health, wellbeing, and rehabilitation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
• Develop and implement personalised, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Support independence in daily activities through therapy and assistive solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals for holistic care.
• Document clinical work accurately and participate in team meetings and training.

Work alongside a large allied health team across two campuses, contributing to community-focused care.

Skills & Requirements:

• Qualification as a Occupational Therapist.
• General AHPRA Registration.
• Experience in residential aged care or home and community.
• One-two successful references.
• NDIS Workers Screening Check & National Police Check.
• Up to date with Flu (2025) & COVID-19 Vaccinations (X3).
• Full working rights in Australia.
