- DNA Healthcare work closely with Queensland Health, providing high quality nurses to hospitals and health services in the regional and remote areas. Mackay Hospital currently need Registered Nurses for the Cardiac Catheter Lab to relieve 4-12 week periods.
- Your travel and accommodation will be covered during this time.
- You will be paid agency hourly rates and you will be working on a full time mixed roster.

What will my role be?
- You will be working as a Registered Nurse in the busy Cardiac Catheter Lab. There is a team of nurses here that you will work with, as well as alongside the medical team completing procedures.
- You will admit patients, prepare them for invasive catheterisation procedures, assist the medical team, monitor patients during procedures, provide post-procedure care.
- Provide patient education and reassurance throughout
- Complete comprehensive documentation and reports
- You may be required to work an on-call roster and you may also be deployed to other areas in the hospital like CCU to assist if understaffed.

What do I need?
- 12+ months of full time experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
- 3+ years experience as a Registered Nurse in acute hospitals
- Knowledge and experience about treating cardiac patients, catheterisation and radiology
- AHPRA, ALS, mandatory training certificates and full immunisation screening
