About the role

MAP Electrics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Pipe welder to join our team in Laverton North, Victoria. We are looking for someone to fit into our team as we look to expand into different aspects of our current services. The role will be a mix of on-site and workshop based, this will vary day to day and is quite flexible.

What you'll be doing

Manufacturing Pipe spools and equipment for industrial, medical, food and hospitality gas systems.

Refurbing cryogenic vessels and pipework assemblies.

Learning the intricacies of cryogenics, high pressure gases and high purity gases.

Working with world leading industrial gas suppliers

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Boilermaking or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

Extensive experience as a Boilermaker or Pipe welder, with a proven track record of high-quality work

Proficiency in stainless steel TIG welding

TIG welding ticket (Highly regarded)

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve technical issues

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety protocols

Strong attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work

Mechanical experience(Highly regarded)

Copper Brazing experience (Highly regarded)

EWP ticket (Highly regarded)

Forklift licence (Highly regarded)
