About the Job

We are seeking a qualified solicitor or barrister in Sydney to support Sydney NSW Personal Injury matters. You will work representing clients in court matters, managing case files, and advising on Personal Injury law, and related legal issues in and near Sydney CBD.

This is a contract job with an hourly rate, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with clients and legal professionals in the Sydney area.

Key Responsibilities

Managing court appearances and acting for a client or clients in Personal Injury.

If a Solicitor - briefing and retaining counsel as needed for court hearings and complex matters. If a Barrister, agreable to a direct brief.

Representing clients in NSW District Court and other legal proceedings

Providing legal research, drafting, and advisory services

Liaising with Sydney-based clients, solicitors, and barristers as required

About You

Admitted to practice law in NSW (Solicitor or Barrister), holding a current Australian Practising Certificate 2024-2025 (or later 2025-2026) NSW practising certificate.

N.B. Must not have Practising Certificate Condition 2 nor Condition 3 nor Condition 5b.

Minimum 3 years' experience in Personal Injury matters

Strong legal research, drafting, and advisory skills

Experience with court proceedings and case management

Self-motivated with the ability to manage caseloads independently
