About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Wholesome Care Supports' as a full-time Care Worker based in Taree, NSW. But covering the whole Barrington Coast. As part of our dedicated team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

What you'll be doing

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping

Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in social activities and outings

Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the care management team

Collaborating with the wider care team to ensure a holistic, person-centred approach to care

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients

What we're looking for

A caring and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others

Relevant experience in the aged care or disability support sector, or a willingness to undertake training

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients

Flexibility and adaptability, as you may be required to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation

A current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
