About the role

Join the dedicated team at Internal Clinic as a Registered Nurse in our Chatswood, NSW practice. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality nursing care and contribute to the overall wellbeing of our patients.

What you'll be doing

• Be able to cannulate as per NSW health standard
• Cold- chain management and safely handle intravenous medication and intramuscular medication
• Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, including conducting assessments, administering medication, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals
• Monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical staff
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with clinic procedures
• Assisting with minor medical procedures and treatments as required
• Promoting a safe and infection-free environment by following strict hygiene protocols
• Actively participating in the clinic's continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining professional development

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Demonstrated experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role, preferably in a clinic or hospital setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team
• Excellent clinical skills, including patient assessment, medication administration, wound management, and cannulation
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare technology
• A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Proficient in using electronic medical records systems and technology
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
