North Eastern Community Hospital (NECH) is a not-for-profit private hospital with an 84 bed Aged Care Facility. As a community hospital, all profits generated are reinvested for the benefit of providing support to healthcare services for the community.

We believe it’s our strong connection to our community that brings people back to NECH, from our surgical and medical support and of course, supporting our elderly in our Aged Care Residential Facility. We are unique in that all our services are provided under one roof including over 350 staff. We have two operating theatres, two dedicated gastroenterology procedure rooms, and a medical and surgical ward with growth across all sectors.

About the Role

NECH is seeking an enthusiastic housekeeping attendant to join our team on a Part-Time/Casual basis to work night-shift. You will join an experienced team who are passionate about healthcare.

Essential Criteria

A strong focus on customer service and person-centred care.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Empathy towards residents/patients.

Ability to prioritise tasks and complete work within the allocated timeframe.

A hands-on approach to support the team when and where needed.

Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to workplace safety.

Must be available to work nights

Desirable Criteria

Ability to work autonomously

Experience in aged care or hospital environment.
