Pillar Allied Health have two locations in Brisbane and Newcastle and we are looking for a General or Clinical Psychologist to join our Newcastle practice in an office or hybrid role. We provide psychology through Medicare, private health, individual referrals, NDIS, Victim's Services, white/gold cards, and Open Arms. We are looking for a psychologist who is interested in working 1-5 days per week with as many hours as you'd like. We are open Monday to Friday and the days are flexible.

We encourage a healthy work-life balance and are happy to bring on people looking to add one day of practice to their lives or up to a full time capacity. There is no set start date, we are happy to provide as much lead time as needed.

Ideal for someone looking for school hours or to manage their own schedule.

We have a full admin team available to manage referrals, calendars, and appointments, and invoicing.

What We Are Looking For:

Individual psychologist or;

Couples psychologist or;

Family psychologist or;

Child/ Adolescent psychologist or;

Assessment psychologist or;

A mixture of all of the above.

Qualifications. experience, and requirements

Bachelor of Psychological Science (Hons) or Bachelor of Arts/ Science, Majoring in Psychology

4+2 or 5+1 pathway, or completed masters in psychology

General or Clinical psychology registration (not provisional psychologists at this stage

Victim Services counsellor approval or willing to obtain prior to commencement (we assist with application).

Tasks & responsibilities

Providing Initial Assessments to clients

Identifying and implementing intervention techniques with clients

Minimal writing relevant reports

Completing formulations and session plans

Maintain up-to-date and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
