Flinders View Primary School and Preschool is located in the regional city of Port Augusta, around 322 km north of Adelaide. We are currently seeking a passionate Year 5/6 Teacher to join our supportive Primary Years team (Years 3–6). This role focuses on delivering high-quality learning outcomes for a diverse student cohort, with a strong emphasis on Aboriginal and EALD learners. Social and emotional learning is embedded throughout our teaching approach.

You will be supported by literacy and numeracy coaches, as well as a dedicated School Support Officer during key learning blocks.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Maintain accurate records and support individual learning plans

Create a safe, inclusive classroom that supports wellbeing and achievement
