About the role

We are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled individual to join our Marketing and Digital team. This fixed-term full-time position is to cover parental leave, commencing on 21 July 2025 until 24 August 2026.

Working in partnership with our other Senior Graphic Designer and the wider Marketing and Design team, you will help provide an end-to-end branding, consultancy, design, print and production service for the City of Swan.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to;

• Produce visually engaging, innovative and attractive digital and traditional marketing materials, with the target audience in mind
• Provide advice to your colleagues on the best design and collateral outcomes for the City and its customers
• Be responsible for ensuring consistency with the City of Swan brand and sub-brand style guides across all platforms
• Source quotes and manage the contracts of design, print and production suppliers
• Provide friendly, efficient and responsive customer service.

About you

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in graphic design, or equivalent work experience
• Experience in producing modern, engaging and attractive graphic design outputs across various platforms (traditional and digital)
• Experience in developing and delivering fresh, customer-focused brands and associated collateral.
• Experience managing the design process successfully end-to-end – from initiation/design brief to production.
• A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.

The salary for this position will be from $91,194 to $108,194 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
