About the Role

A great opportunity exists for a qualified Electrician to join the team at Winki Energy. Specialising in both Commercial and Residential PV Solar, Battery (BESS) and EV Charging installations, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in an ever growing sustainable energy focused business. Electricians with residential solar experience that wish to upskill in commercial solar and large scale battery storage are encouraged to apply. Winki Solutions is based out of Torquay however also has teams in Melbourne and services the entire state of Victoria and have completed projects interstate also. We currently have 13 CEC Accredited Electricians on staff that make up the core of our 39 staff. We are a young team that delivers high end quality work for multiple Tier 1 clients as well as residential customers.

Within this role you will:

Complete a variety of commercial and domestic electrical work; with a strong focus on Residential solar and battery installations across the Greater Geelong and Surf Coast area

Work on large scale Tier 1 Solar C&I projects including MW+ PV and MW Battery Storage projects

Assist in the leadership and development of a small team

Remain committed and self-motivated with a positive attitude towards all duties

Provide a friendly and professional customer experience

Conduct diagnostic work including fault finding and switchboard work

Ensure all OHS protocols are followed at all times

About You

As our newest team member you will have:

Full Australian Work Rights

VIC electrical license

SAA Solar Design and Install (or willing to obtain)

SAA Battery accreditation (or willing to obtain)

Understanding of AS/NZS3000 and Service rules

Experience in solar installations

Current driver's license

Working with heights experience and qualifications and construction industry white card

Excellent communication skills
