About the role

MSS Security is seeking Full Time Security Officers to join our team as a Reliever at a prestigious University campus located in the North Eastern suburbs. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will be responsible for responding to incidents and conducting regular foot patrols across the campus grounds, maintaining a visible security presence at all times.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct foot patrols of campuses mostly outdoors.
• Escort people around the campus.
• Ensure property is locked and unlocked as required.
• Direct and help people to navigate around the campus.
• Write reports in response to incidents.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Proven security industry experience.
• Previous security experience in educational sectors (highly desired).
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster.
• Ability to walk up to 15-20km a day.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in operating radios and communication platforms

Requirements:

• Full Australian working rights.
• Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
• Security Licence with control room subcategory.
• Valid Victorian drivers licence with no restrictions.
• Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
• Valid First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain).
