The Role
Toll People are currently seeking highly motivated and experienced Forklift Drivers for our client based in Port Kembla. This role is based at the Steelworks and therefore a strong focus on safety and ability to work with heavy product is required.

The successful candidates will be responsible for various warehouse duties such as packing steel coils into containers, cutting rubber and timber, packing poly, strapping the product and other warehouse duties as required.

These are casual-on call shifts/assignments, and therefore candidates with flexible availability will be highly considered.

Average shifts are Monday to Friday + weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading steel coils into containers (ready to be exported)
• Cutting rubber, timber and poly for packing
• Strapping and securing the product
• Labelling, scanning and documenting product details as required
• Other general warehouse duties as instructed
• Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times

Skills and Experience

• Ability to keep up with the physical demands of the job - loading and unloading steel product
• A current forklift licence with confident experience
• Excellent communication skills
• A focus on working safely
• Availability to start immediately
