The Organisation:

TransitCare is a not for profit organisation that provides socially inclusive, safe and reliable transport and support services to assist socially isolated people and people with disabilities to live independently in their own homes and participate in their communities. Main services provided are social and medical transport and activities for clients living in the Brisbane South, Logan and Redlands areas. TransitCare is proud of our recent completion of our Reflect Level RAP. We also manage the delivery of similar services in our Townsville, Cairns and Gold Coast branches. The role:

We are seeking 2 part time Client Services Consultants to join our Contact Centre team based within our Beenleigh office. This role deals with both inbound and outbound calls, liaising with clients, their families or representatives and other agencies. This is a front line role, in a fast paced call centre delivering immediate on the day service solutions.

Each role is offering 20 hours per fortnight. The current hours of operation of the Contact Centre is 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday. The role will be across 3 days. There may be the opportunity to pick up additional hours as needed.

The Person:

To succeed in this role you will have:

Good negotiation skills, good sense of judgment, and ability to prioritise effectively

Excellent listening and communication skills

Minimum of 2 years experience in a client services team or call centre environment

A current Federal Police check or be prepared to obtain one

Hold or be able to attain a blue card and NDIS workers screening clearance

Experience assessing people for medical needs or Government assistance is preferred

Experience with My Aged Care or NDIS services preferred
