We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses for permanent full-time roles within a correctional facility located on the stunning Mid North Coast of New South Wales. If you have a background in primary health, mental health, emergency, or custodial settings—or are keen to step into a meaningful new challenge—this role could be a great fit.
About Our Client
As a Registered Nurse in correctional health, you'll deliver a wide range of clinical care to patients with diverse and often complex needs. Working within a well-supported and secure environment, your responsibilities will include:
Comprehensive clinical assessments and chronic disease management
Medication administration and wound care
Mental health triage, support, and post-incident care
Health education and preventative care initiatives
Emergency response and acute care coordination
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with relevant standards and legislation
Full training and onboarding are provided, along with robust clinical governance and peer support frameworks.
What You Will Need
Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 2 years’ post-graduate experience
Demonstrated experience in primary health, mental health, ED, custodial or rural/remote nursing
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
COVID vaccination (minimum 2 doses)
