Part time teaching opportunities available from Term 3, 2025

We have two days per week primary teaching available from Term 3, 2025 (two separate year groups). This could be filled either by one candidate for both days, or two candidates working one day each, until at least the end of Term 4, 2025, with possible extension or permanent appointment thereafter.

The successful applicant/s will be enthusiastic and committed with relevant experience in primary school.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate/s will require:

experience working with primary students

excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young people

the skills and attitude to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting

a willingness to implement, support and promote the School’s Steiner ethos

a strong commitment to student wellbeing

a willingness to be involved in the wider life of the School; and

understanding of the Australian Curriculum.

You must also:

hold a teaching qualification

hold ACT TQI registration or Permit to Teach

hold a current WwVP registration

be eligible to work in Australia.

We welcome and encourage all candidates with teaching qualifications and experience to apply. While Steiner experience or qualifications are not essential, a willingness to learn is required. Support and guidance will be provided to successful candidates without a Steiner background.

Salary and conditions of employment are currently in accordance with the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025.
