Qualifications & Experience

Relevant trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting or Auto Electrical

Proven experience with heavy machinery, diesel engines, and electrical systems

Familiarity with mine site equipment, including road trucks, tractors, lighting plants, pit pumps, and small ancillary equipment

Skills in diagnosing problems and implementing preventative maintenance

Strong team player who thrives in a positive, safety-focused work environment

Tasks & Responsibilities

Perform preventive and general maintenance on equipment

Conduct regular servicing and preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

Benefits

Competitive industry rates: PAYG starting at $80/hr plus Super for Day Shift, with additional loading for weekends and night shifts. Higher rates available for Auto Electricians or individuals who can bring exceptional value.

Subcontracting options available starting at $95/hr, ex GST for Day Shift, with additional loading for weekends and night shifts.

Ongoing embedded roles with a rotating 7/7 or 6/6 roster , as well as opportunities for short-term contracts for holiday relief and shutdowns.
