We currently have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Plumber to join our Defence team at Nowra Hill. This full-time role plays a key part in maintaining essential infrastructure and services across the Shoalhaven region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver plumbing maintenance services across a wide range of facilities
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner
• Support planned and preventative maintenance activities
• Maintain and improve fixed plant and hydraulic systems
• Work collaboratively with internal trades teams and service delivery partners
• Provide sign-off for statutory plumbing requirements including TMV and Backflow testing
• Ensure all work is completed safely in accordance with Zero Harm principles

Position Available:

• Permanent, full-time Plumber role based at Nowra Hill (Shoalhaven region)

About You:

• Trade qualified and licensed plumber
• Experience in facilities maintenance (preferred)
• Certified to sign off on TMV and Backflow devices
• Gas fitting license (highly regarded)
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude
• Physically capable of meeting role demands
• Committed to safety and Zero Harm practices
• Willing to participate in on-call duties and occasional weekend/overtime work

Licences and Certifications (Highly Regarded):

• Working at Heights
• Confined Space Entry
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
• Australian Baseline Security Clearance (desirable)
• Working with Vulnerable People check (or willingness to obtain)

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Successful candidates will be required to:

• Undergo a pre-employment medical
• Provide a current National Police Clearance
• Be an Australian Citizen (mandatory)
