Experienced Registered Nurse – Ophthalmology
Full-Time | Multi-site | $40–$50 per hour | 12-Month Parental Leave Contract

Eyemedics is a leading provider of world-class Ophthalmic care, committed to delivering best practice in eye health management and excellence in patient service.

We have an exciting opportunity for a professional, motivated, and well-presented experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical team on a 12-month parental leave contract, with the possibility of extension at the end of the term. This is a full-time position, working across our three sites, supporting our consultants and ensuring the delivery of smooth, efficient clinical care.

About the Role
Reporting to our Senior Nursing Team, you will be part of a friendly, supportive environment where patient care is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll work in a positive, fast-paced setting where your contributions are valued and your professional development is supported.

Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include (but are not limited to):

· Assisting Ophthalmologists with in-room procedures

· Providing patient care, support, and education

· Managing pathology results and patient consent processes

· Upholding infection control protocols

· Performing clinical assessments and patient workups

· Monitoring and managing medical stock levels

· Maintaining clinical areas, including equipment care and knowledge of sterilisation practices (on-site and off-site)

· Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills

· Confidence in busy or high-pressure situations

· Strong attention to detail and time management

· A desire to learn and develop ophthalmic clinical skills (training provided)
