We are seeking a Trade Qualified Plumbers to join our team for a civil construction project in the Maranoa region. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of plumbing tasks within the local infrastructure, including water main repairs, sewer maintenance, and emergency leak repairs. Key Responsibilities:

Typical duties may include, but are not limited to:

Water meter reading and data collection.

Assisting with water main repairs and break responses.

Plumber position will be responsible for leak repairs, including fitting selections and repair planning.

Valve maintenance and operation.

Hydrant inspections and flushing.

Sewer blockage removal, including jet rodding and CCTV inspection support.

Assisting with both reactive and planned maintenance on sewerage infrastructure.

Service location assistance, including responding to Dial Before You Dig requests.

Installation and replacement of water and sewer services.

Operating Council trucks and both light and heavy plant/equipment.

Trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and site restoration.

Availability for after-hours and weekend emergency call-outs.

General Requirements:

Queensland Plumbing Licence is mandatory.

Relevant experience in local government, utilities, or civil construction is preferred.

WHS Construction Induction Card (White Card).

Strong ability to work safely and follow operational procedures.

Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies on a rostered basis.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
