Psychiatrist

JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a Locum Psychiatrist with experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Neurodevelopmental cases for TELEHEALTH consults. This is a flexible, part-time locum opportunity for 1-2 sessions per week.

DUTIES:

• Telehealth consultations with patients (ages 4 to adult) and their families to discuss diagnosis, treatment, and medication based on completed in-house assessments.
• Review and interpret neurodevelopmental and mental health reports completed by Psychologist Team.
• Complete diagnostic reports in a timely manner
• Communicate action items (e.g. school letters, follow-up needs) to admin staff as required.

SELECTION CRITERIA:

• Full registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner and hold Fellowship with RANZCP
• Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Comfortable working independently via Telehealth.
• Experience reviewing and assessing neurodevelopmental cases.
