Pressure Welder

Full Time Permanent Position

Due to the expansion in our Kalgoorlie operations we currently have vacancies for persons with Pressure Welder experiences. The Position is Kalgoorlie based and not FIFO

Duties are included as below but not limited, please contact us for detailed duties for each position:

Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements

Selecting, cleaning, preparing & assembling metal stock

Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines

Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering

Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments

Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting, riveting and repairing pressure pipes

Examining welds for width of bead, penetration and precision

Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions

Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, chiseling and grinding

The candidate should have the following requirements

Trade Certificate

Up to 3 Years Experience

Able to do roster work

Must be able to pass a D & A test and police clearance.

Able to Undertake Pre-employment Medical

These positions are permanent positions.

Hourly rate is $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
