About the role

We are seeking to employ enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team within the Residential facility.

You will be supported by a management team that is dedicated to developing your leadership and management experience.

As a Registered Nurse you would

• Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of care recipients care plans and clinical nursing needs within the program limitations and in conjunction with the Clinical team.
• Manage the provision of the daily care needs for our residents while supporting the team around you.
• Be responsible for providing comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments.
• Engage in nursing practices that enhance the dignity and integrity of all our residents, fostering independence
• Liaise with doctors, Allied Health professionals, and family members in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of individual resident care.
• Supervise and coordinate with care workers, enrolled nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide information about residents to their family members, updating their family members on their treatment and care.
• Be responsible for Medications, providing interventions, and treatments to residents.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse essential.
• Experience in Aged Care desirable.
• Exceptional Care Recipient case management and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse team environment with flexibility to meet the needs of our organisation.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to delegate and prioritise workload
• Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience providing clinical patient centred Care Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.
• Understanding of the Aged Care legislative framework and requirements, including safe medication administration knowledge and experience with AN-ACC
• Excellent computer and documentation skills
• Empathy and an emphasis on treating others with dignity and respect
• The right to work in Australia
• Have a current NDIS Worker Screening or be willing to obtain.
• Pass a pre-employment medical.
• Provide evidence of current Influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations.
