About the Role
Coastal Electrics is looking for a proactive and experienced Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join our team. This is a key role responsible for implementing and maintaining our HSEQ policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards, and client requirements.
Working across both mining and construction projects, you’ll lead the charge in driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain HSEQ systems, policies, and procedures across all business operations
Ensure compliance with statutory and client-specific HSEQ requirements
Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Deliver inductions, training, and ongoing HSEQ education to staff
Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with project teams, site personnel, and external stakeholders on HSEQ matters
Maintain compliance with ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001.
About You
Proven experience in a similar HSEQ role within mining and construction environments
Strong knowledge of relevant HSEQ legislation and standards
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Cert IV or Diploma in WHS (or equivalent)
Lead auditor qualifications (desirable)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
