Position Summary
We are looking for an organised, people-focused NDIS Workforce, Compliance & Rostering Coordinator to join our team. This is a dynamic role combining staff recruitment and onboarding, NDIS compliance and documentation, roster coordination, and direct liaison with clients and families. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the right support workers are matched with participants, shifts are filled efficiently, and services are delivered smoothly and in compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Lead end-to-end recruitment of support workers, including job advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, and reference checking.
Facilitate onboarding and induction, ensuring new staff are trained and compliant prior to commencement.
Maintain up-to-date and professional employee profiles, including qualifications and credentials.
NDIS Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all staff have valid and current NDIS Worker Screening, WWCC, First Aid, and Police Checks.
Maintain HR compliance systems and documentation in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
Assist with internal audits and preparation for NDIS Commission reviews and registration requirements.
Rostering & Workforce Coordination
Manage and maintain daily and weekly shift rosters, ensuring appropriate matching of staff to participants based on skills, availability, and participant preferences.
Respond promptly to shift changes, cancellations, and emergency rostering needs.
Collaborate with team leads and support coordinators to anticipate rostering needs and plan accordingly.
Client & Participant Engagement
Act as a key contact for participant and family enquiries relating to services and staffing.
Communicate with participants to understand support preferences, ensure satisfaction, and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
Maintain strong relationships with both staff and participants to support a positive and consistent service experience.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in rostering or compliance within the NDIS or health/community services sector.
Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, worker screening, and incident reporting requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with participants, families, and staff.
High level of organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving under pressure.
Confidence using HR or rostering software (Bright HR)
