Trinity has a dynamic and dedicated staff team. We believe in a collaborative staff culture and staff engagement, playing to people’s strengths and providing opportunities for development and growth.

THE ROLE

The role of classroom teacher at Trinity Anglican College is a highly valued and rewarding position. Teachers in all year levels will work on growing the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional well-being of our greatest asset, our students.

Classroom teachers in middle (Year 3-4) and upper (Year 5-6) primary classrooms will help students transition from Early Years learning into a more independent and student-focused learning environment. There remains a strong focus on skill-focused explicit, direct instruction pedagogies, that are supported by scaffolded investigative learning opportunities.

Contributing to the ongoing development of teaching instruction by being involved in a shared learning culture of using research and evidence-based best practice pedagogies to inform growth in practice, is a rewarding part of a teacher at Trinity’s journey.

The role of classroom teacher will see you deliver lessons across all NESA Key Learning Areas of English, Mathematics, Science and HSIE. There are also opportunities for teachers to deliver lessons in other domains including STEM, PDHPE, Visual Art, Music, and Religious and Values Education.

Teachers will work closely as a year level team, however, also forming part of the Stage Team. This team collaborates with colleagues across their stage as well as our specialist teachers for PDHPE, Visual Art, Music, STEM and RAVE.
