About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you are a qualified Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) Practitioner (Graduate Diploma and required hours completed) able to work with our team of highly skilled and dedicated practitioners providing FDR to separating couples by assisting to resolve issues in dispute such as parenting arrangements, property settlements and developing parenting plans. Your responsibilities include providing conflict resolution, parent education, a framework for negotiation, undertaking assessments and mediation, group work (as required), providing information, support, and referrals to match presenting needs to services and programs. The successful candidate MUST have a Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.
We are offering a part-time position, working three (3) days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday), including one evening shift at our Melbourne Family Relationship Centre. This position is fixed term until July 2026. The base salary range is $95k-$102k (pro-rata) per annum with access to salary packaging of $18,550 per annum.
About you
- Degree qualified in social sciences (psychology, social work), law or dispute resolution.
- Graduate Diploma in Family Dispute Resolution.
- Accreditation as an FDRP with the Attorney-General’s Department.
- Previous experience working as an FDRP (desirable).
- Experience/or training in property mediation, or willing to undertake training (desirable).
