The opportunity

Dowerin' is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team and help drive our overseas workforce placements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong industry relationships and has a passion for connecting skilled overseas workers with Australian employers.

Key responsibilities

Identify, approach, and build long-term relationships with Australian employers and industry stakeholders

Understand industry workforce needs and match them with our pool of qualified overseas workers

Negotiate and manage agreements for job placements, training pathways, and visa sponsorships

Act as the main liaison between employers and Dowerin's internal migration and training teams

Attend relevant expos, networking events, and industry forums to promote Dowerin's services

Collaborate on marketing and employer engagement strategies

Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly recruitment targets

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a recruitment or staffing role.

Proven experience in business development, industry engagement, or recruitment (especially in blue-collar or healthcare sectors)

A strong existing network of industry/employer contacts is highly desirable

Understanding of employer-sponsored migration pathways (e.g. 482, 186, 407 visas) is an advantage

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
