We are seeking an experienced Tiler for an immediate start to join our team. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with both residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

· Ensure tiling projects are completed on schedule

· Prepare job estimates and ordering materials

· Being able to read and interpret construction plans to ensure accurate tile layout and installation

· Cut, fit, and fix tiles using the correct tools, materials and techniques

· Prepare substrates by levelling, cleaning and applying appropriate primers and waterproofing membranes

· Grout, and seal tiles upon completion of installation

· Utilise special skills in areas such as design, layout, installation and repair

· Commitment to all safety aspects and environmental best practise

· Proficient in working with a variety of tools and materials

Demonstrate high attention to detail and quality finish to all work

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety protocols.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex projects

· Always provide support to colleagues

· Assessing quality of work and ensure that the correct materials are being used

· Collaborating with the team and subcontractors to ensure a smooth workflow

Liaising with Clients when necessary

What you’ll bring

Proven experience as a Construction Tiler (Trade Qualification), with a minimum of 2 years in the trade.

Strong working knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.

Must have your own tools.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as tiling machinery.

A commitment to safety, quality, and efficient work practices.

The ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing job site conditions.

A positive attitude, willingness to learn and being proactive.

Valid driver's license.

White Card (Construction Induction Card).

Ability to pass a Police Integrity Check.

Any High Risk Work License (HRWL) tickets

First Aid certificate (preferable)
