They are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join their thriving team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to excel in their career, under Partnership that helps you achieve your goals and offers an incredibly fun and supportive culture!
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare: BAS, IAS, financial statements, rental property schedules and complete asset depreciation schedules
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, partnerships
- Complete Division 7A Loan Reconciliation workpapers
- Reconcile GST and CGT (property for individuals and listed shares)
- Liaise with clients directly, provide answers to queries and prioritise workflow
Skills and Experience:
- MINIMUM 3+ years' experience working as an accountant in a public practice firm and strong knowledge of Australian tax
- Exposure to Div7a, GST, CGT, FBT, Payroll, Property and Bookkeeping
- Worked with business clients with a turnover of at least $5 million
- Demonstrated experience with MYOB AE, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, QuickBooks, MYOB Account Right and Xero (ideal)
- Great work ethic | motivation | positive and honest attitude | enjoys a good laugh!
- Enrolled in or is looking to enrol in a CA/CPA
