About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Carpenter - Cabinet Maker to join the team at GCD Exhibitions' in Burleigh Heads, Queensland.

What you'll be doing

Fabricating, installing and dismantling custom displays

Reading and interpreting design plans and specifications to ensure accurate manufacturing and installation

Operating a variety of woodworking machinery and power tools in a safe and efficient manner

Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment

Ensuring all work meets the company's high standards of quality and safety

Working mainly on-site in the factory but there will be some off-site work installing and dismantling

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Carpentry - Cabinetmaking, or equivalent industry experience

Proven track record of producing high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture

Excellent working knowledge of woodworking tools, machinery and techniques

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing work to the highest standards

Ability to read and interpret design plans and specifications

Good communication and problem-solving skills

A collaborative and solution-oriented approach to work

A team player with a can-do attitude

Must have own tools
